summary of cover & cover premiums

cancellation cover

We will reimburse you for expenses incurred because of the necessary cancellation

of the Wedding ceremony or reception for reasons out of your control limited to:

The illness, injury or death of the bride, groom, or close family

relative.

The redundancy of the bride, groom, or close family relative.

Ceremony or reception venue being unable to hold the function.

The posting abroad of a serving member of the UK Armed Forces.

Adverse weather conditions that make the ceremony or

reception venue inaccessible.

additional expenses

We will reimburse your irrecoverable expenses for alternative

services incurred to avoid the necessary cancellation of the wedding

due to an insured cause.

wedding attire

Cover for the loss of or damage to bride and bridesmaid's dresses,

groom and attendants formal attire, including their hire charges

following loss or damage if such charges are imposed by the hire

company.

wedding presents

Cover for the loss of or damage to the wedding presents in your

possession within 24 hours before and after the wedding day.

photographs and videos

Cover to retake official wedding photographs in the event of the

non-appearance of a booked professional photographer, or the total

loss, damage or non-development of the original film, negative or video.

wedding rings

Cover for the loss or damage to the bride or grooms wedding rings

up to 7 days prior to the Wedding and up to 24 hours after the reception.

wedding transport

Cover for the non-appearance of the official booked wedding

transport due a breakdown or accident on the wedding day.

wedding cake

Cover for the loss of or damage to the official wedding cake at the venue, home or

whilst in transit 24 hours prior to the wedding.

wedding flowers

Cover for the non-appearance of the officially booked wedding bouquet, buttonholes

and floral displays arranged for the wedding.

loss of deposits

Cover in respect of the bankruptcy or liquidation of any booked service supplier.

public liability

Protects your legal liability to pay for compensation and claimant's costs and expenses

for accidental bodily injury or accidental loss of or damage to property sustained at your wedding.

wedding property cover

Cover for your liabilities in respect of the accidental loss of or damage to hired in property

in connection with your wedding for which you are legally responsible.

main exclusions

Non-appearance due to disinclination of the bride or groom to marry.

Cancellation due to stress.

Failure of any supplier where booking arrangements are not confirmed in writing.

Cancellation due to any pre-existing condition.

Theft from unattended venues and vehicles.

Wilful and malicious acts resulting in damage.

Damage to ground surfaces and underground services.

Damage to marquees whilst being erected or dismantled.

Damage to flooring caused by footwear.
