Event Insurance

Dv Productions are agents for Event insurance services and

are likewise fully commited to the care of our customers.

summary of cover

public liability

This protects your legal liability to pay for compensation and claimants costs and expenses for accidental bodily injury loss of or damage to property sustained by members of the public and occurring in connection with your event.

The cover should be based on the total number of visitors expected to attend the event throughout the whole period of insurance.

employers liability

Protects your legal liabilities in respect of compensation and claimants costs and expenses for accidental bodily injury to anyone you employ at an event, including temporary staff, volunteers, helpers, whether paid or unpaid.

hired in event property

Covers your liability in respect of the accidental loss of or damage to hired in event property for which you are legally responsible for both at your event and in transit to or from the venue during the period of the insurance.

cancellation cover

Cover in respect of your out of pocket expenses incurred as the result of the complete cancellation of the event for reasons beyond your control, including extreme adverse weather conditions that render the event as dangerous for the public to attend.

main exclusions

The first £250 of each and every claim

Loss, theft or damage at unattended venues or vehicles

Dangerous activities

Independent stall-holders, exhibitors, contractors or suppliers

Injury to riders, judges or officials whilst mounted at a ridden horse event

Shooting, archery, bouncy castles, fireworks, fairground rides and its a knockout.

Any wilful or malicious act, acts of vandalism.

Damage to ground surfaces and underground services.

Cancellation due to weather related risks.

Sound and Light equipment, unless otherwise agreed.

This only provides an example of the terms of the policy, for full terms and conditions a specimen policy is available upon request.

IMPORTANT

Policies are normally forwarded to you within 7 days of application and full premium payment. Insurance is not in place until a policy has been issued.
